Awesome neighborhood deli and pork store. Always fresh, everything is made in house and they toss out some outstanding sandwiches. If your in the area and you want something quick and delicious this is your place.

Joe and the crew at A&S never disappoint. Their catered food is amazing (try the chicken scampi) they always take good care to provide freshly cooked food never frozen garbage you would get elsewhere. The sausage is made in house and is by far some of the best Italian sausage you could find and the mozzarella is always on point. I can write on about Joe and Joe Jr; but do yourself a favor stop in and get some sausage, mozzarella, lard bread and pizza rustica.

If you are a fan of roasted peppers, lard bread, fresh mutz and chicken cutlets then you need to come here for these things. A & S has the best lard bread and it goes so good with their delicious roasted peppers. I love the garlic in the roasted peppers and let's face it, the roasted peppers in the jars in the water are not even close in quality as compared to the pork store made roasted peppers. The fried cutlets with roasted peppers and fresh mutz hero is amazing and goes great with a bottle of manhattan special which they sell as well. If you are ever in their area, pull over and give them a try.

Now that I live in Sheepshead Bay, I couldn't find an authentic italian store near home... but I found this place! And wow! Ravioli, broccoli rabe, fresh mozzarella, meat sauce, pork sausage with parsley and cheese and the Italian bread, was all so delicious! Everything was fresh! And the men that work there are super nice! Will definitely go there again!
